Oxygen is an essential and major element for human beings and other living beings to survive. Growth, reproduction, and transformation of food into energy are done with the help of Oxygen.

The requirement for Oxygen in human beings is fulfilled by the Respiratory system. The respiratory system helps to absorb Oxygen from the air into the blood through inhaling and cleans the blood by removing waste gases such as Carbon Dioxide while we exhale through the nose.
